Service Readiness Analyst

Job Summary

As a Service Readiness Analyst, you will serve as a critical bridge between system implementation and long-term operational success. In this role, you will perform quality assurance and functional validation efforts for Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) payroll deployment projects. You are responsible for ensuring that complex payroll configurations impacting Payroll Processing Services are accurate, compliant, and ready for "Go-Live". This role requires a blend of technical oversight and collaborative project support. You will work closely with technical leads, functional experts, and client stakeholders to complete scenario testing, identify risks, document resolutions, and ensure a seamless transition from the project phase to steady-state operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This role does not have any direct reports. 

Duties/Responsibilities

• Support BPaaS payroll deployment projects from the configuration phase through go-live.

• Perform QA validation on testing, tax/garnishment/payment configurations, and post-payroll service feeds.

• Execute functional testing for parallel processing, check printing, EFT, and garnishment files.

• Review and document payroll/tax issues, identify risks, and track resolutions.

• Collaborate with technical and functional leads to validate process readiness.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Partner with internal and client teams for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-go-live support.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing or tax experience, preferably with SAP Employee Central Payroll.

• Expertise in reconciling Excel spreadsheets and using advanced lookups.

• Expertise in creating and delivering presentations to C-Suite and below. 

Other Qualifications

• A degree in accounting, business, or a related field; advanced certifications in payroll (e.g., CPP) are a plus.

• Deep understanding of Payroll and Tax processes.

• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Highly motivated to grow and contribute in a high-growth environment.

• Experience in QA, testing, or implementation is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• This position requires periods of sitting at a desk, standing, and working on a computer.

Salary Range:

• The salary range for this position will be $71,500 - $85,750.
