Location:
Remote/Work-From-Home or from one of our offices in Portland, ME; Orlando, FL; or Shawnee, KS.

 

Job Summary:
Veritas Prime is seeking a Sales Director to advocate and champion for a lean and mean, dynamic sales team, leading with a customer-first approach, a positive competitive spirit, appreciation for teamwork, and a strategic mindset.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead with a growth mindset
  • Support Client Engagement (Sales) team with sales processes 
  • Support qualifying and developing leads and opportunities
  • Strengthen existing client relationships
  • Add value to a strong culture of teamwork
  • Work with and lead Client Engagement (sales) team members to coordinate and execute on overall sales strategies, processes, and relationship development.
  • Advocate and be a voice for change 
  • Foster executive relationships with prospects and customers to deliver value into their organizations, and meet our company commitments to have customers for life. 
  • Actively understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy and competitive landscape. Review public information (e.g. new executive appointments, earnings statements, press releases) for the company and its competitors to remain updated on key industry trends and issues impacting the prospect.
  • Participate and lead the team with account planning forecasting activities.
  • Achieve/exceed quota sales targets for services and software sales. 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • This position requires periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Some travel required.

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related role.
  • 4-5 years of quota carrying enterprise software applications sales experience
  • Cloud Software Sales/License Experience required.
  • Experience selling to CHROs, HR Directors, and CFOs preferred
  • SalesExperience leading a team 
  • Experience carrying a quota, and exceeding sales targets
  • Mid-market experience
  • Management of large, complex sales cycles
  • Experience in both new business development and managing existing accounts
  • Experience leading multiple projects
  • Experience with SuccessFactors preferred but not required
