Job Summary
The Head of Project Management Office (PMO) plays a pivotal role within Veritas Prime, overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of project and programme management to ensure the successful delivery of internal and external client engagements. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, a track record of successful project delivery, and the ability to drive efficiency and excellence in project execution.
Nature & Scope
- Provide strategic leadership for the PMO, aligning project management practices with the overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement a project management strategy that supports business growth and client satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks to ensure adherence to project management best practices.
- Provide oversight of all projects within the consultancy, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
- Collaborate with Resource Management to allocate project resources effectively.
- Ensure optimal resource utilisation and alignment with project demands.
- Mitigate project risks through internal governance framework
- Implement risk management strategies to safeguard project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance project management processes and methodologies.
- Implement industry best practices to keep the consultancy at the forefront of project management excellence.
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Knowledge & Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a Project Management Office.
- Extensive background in managing complex projects in a consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing project management teams.
- Passionate about working with people and developing teams (coaching, training, facilitating, and collaborating).
