Job Summary: 


As a Products Designer, you will be an integral part of the Products and Innovations team and will be responsible for the successful completion of projects. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building products within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be working on a cross-functional team with Product Architects, Sales, and development team members to ensure that all requirements and deadlines are on track.


Areas of focus within this role include the design of graphics and layouts that should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. You will need to have a good attention to details and be able to apply current or trendy design layouts/concepts to your work without distracting from the overall functional goals of the application. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design and communicate with the development team.


This is a hybrid in-office/work from home position based out of our office in Shawnee, KS. 


Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$100,000.


Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role will not have direct reports at this time



  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
  • Test graphics across various media to ensure final product deliverables are correct, visually appealing, and on-brand
  • Stay up-to-date with design application changes and industry developments
  • Gain an understanding of user experience and identify ways to improve overall layouts and graphics
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on feedback
  • Collaborating with product leads and developers to gather requirements
  • Utilize tools such as Jira or Figma as part of the software development process.
  • Prepare and update marketing materials to be visually appealing and appropriate for chosen medium


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask across several active projects
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
  • Willingness for flexible scheduling to meet processing demands.
  • Strong sense of urgency, proactive approach, and a solid focus on results


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant design experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working on software development projects.
  • Experience working with Figma and Jira.


Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
