This position will not have direct reports.
Job Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Products and Innovations team and will be responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving the reliability, security, and delivery speed of our application platforms. This role owns the operational health and evolution of our AWS cloud infrastructure and hosted server platforms supporting product workloads. You will partner with Product Architects, Product Leads, Software Engineers, QA, and other stakeholders to standardize and scale CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery) pipelines, infrastructure automation, and production operations across a global delivery model.
Areas of focus within this role include automating build, test, and deployment workflows; improving observability (monitoring, logging, alerting); strengthening AWS and hosted infrastructure security and resiliency; and supporting incident response with strong root-cause analysis and prevention. You will collaborate across time zones (USA, Argentina, Peru, India) and help establish repeatable operating procedures that reduce risk and enable predictable delivery.
Duties/ Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple product domains using Git-based workflows and automated deployments

Own and administer Products AWS infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, and IAM

Ensure environments are scalable, secure, and cost-aware

Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and maintain environments consistently (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or equivalent)

Manage hosted server platforms supporting product workloads (e.g., EC2 or ECS), including OS administration, patching cadence, baseline hardening, and lifecycle management

Implement and validate backup/restore and disaster recovery (DR) practices for AWS and hosted platforms

Standardize environment promotion practices (dev/test/stage/prod), including rollback strategies, and configuration management

Establish and maintain observability standards: metrics, logs, traces, alert thresholds, and dashboards; ensure actionable alerting to reduce noise and improve time-to-detect

Partner with engineering teams to improve application reliability through performance tuning, capacity planning, and resilient architecture patterns

Lead or support incident response and post-incident reviews, including technical root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions

Create and maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and architecture diagrams; ensure knowledge transfer across a globally distributed team

Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate level of effort, evaluate technology options, and implement solutions aligned to product roadmaps and operational requirements
Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or infrastructure/operations required

3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), platform engineering, or production operations supporting modern software systems

Experience supporting production environments with measurable reliability and delivery outcomes
Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (pipeline design, build automation, deployment strategies, artifact management)

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and operations, and security best practices

Experience operating hosted server platforms (virtualization and Linux administration), including patching, hardening, backups, monitoring, and performance/capacity management

Proficiency with Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or equivalent)

Experience with IaC and configuration management; ability to enforce consistent environments and reduce manual changes

Working knowledge of observability tooling and practices (monitoring, centralized logging, alerting, dashboards)

Experience improving operational maturity: incident management, runbooks, change management, and reliability metrics (e.g., SLA/SLI/SLO - Service Level Agreement/Indicator/Objective)

Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment and to collaborate effectively across time zones (USA, Argentina, Peru, India)

Salary Range
- The salary range for this position will likely be $115,000 - $140,000. However, compensation above or below that range may be offered depending on experience.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
