HR Generalist/Recruiter

Job Summary:

The Generalist / Recruiter will facilitate hiring processes for multiple roles at Veritas Prime, ensuring the best and brightest candidates are found and hired. The Generalist/Recruiter will act as the “face of the Company” for potential new hires, representing the Company at all times. Additionally, they will support the HR team with miscellaneous other HR activities. 

Location:

This position will work from our Portland/Yarmouth, ME office. (The office is currently located in Portland, ME but will be moving to Yarmouth before the end of the year).

Salary Range:

The annual salary range for this position is $77,000 - $90,000 depending on experience. In some cases, compensation below or above that range may be offered.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all phases of the recruitment process.
• Post job requisitions and source for qualified candidates.
• Introduce candidates to the Company.
• Screen candidates and schedule and facilitate 1st and 2nd interviews in collaboration with Hiring Managers.
• Keep Hiring Managers and Department Leaders informed regarding current recruiting processes.
• Create offer letters and make offer calls.
• Onboard new hires. 
• Understand and communicate company salary and incentives, benefits, and general policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
• Attend and participate in college job fairs as needed.
• Make employee changes and adjustments in SuccessFactors HCM.
• Assist with yearly audits and miscellaneous other HR-related tasks. 

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a welcoming and enthusiastic demeanor. 
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
• Proficient with or has the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
• Proficient with Google Suite.
• Experience with SuccessFactors HCM preferred but not required.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1 year of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
• 2+ years experience in a professional, fast-paced work environment.
• Experience recruiting for technical and/or consulting positions is ideal, but not required.

 
Physical Requirements:

• This position requires periods of sitting at a desk, standing, and working on a computer.
