Veritas Prime LLC, a Portland, ME based IT solutions firm has multiple openings for Software Engineer

Job duties include:

• Ability to work with company clients in the following areas:
• Work with business users to gather requirements on SAP applications.
• Modify, configure, administer and support SAP and software to improve business performance within Human Capital Talent Management.
• Ability top support end clients to resolve application issues.
• Analyze data and business objectives of existing setup to determine and recommend any hardware or software upgrades needed to improve performance.
• Able to Consult, assist and advise clients in leveraging technology to advance business needs for SAP Basis and administration, including:
• Work on Continuous improvement of existing SAP landscapes;
• Manage, monitor and report on Service Level Agreements;
• Help and advise clients determine tactical and strategic paths;
• Coordinate, manage and schedule meetings and conference calls;
• Highlight efficiencies and suggest improvement areas for the SAP systems.
• Setup hardware and Operating system for internal SAP systems in consultation with engineering staff.
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly system administration usage documentation.
• Analyze and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and design data strategy in consultation with company and client to determine data processing requirements and make recommendations to client on hardware and software upgrades or updates.
• Coordinate, install, manage, and maintain internal SAP systems and provide offsite SAP Basis and administration support for clients.
• Manage requirements gathering, designing of the SAP Security SOX compliance solution, blue printing the proposed solution, validating the solution, building and implementing solution.
• Provide help in defining GRC business rules as per the SOX and decision making on the business process issues.
• Support functions for the implemented solution.
• Work as GRC/Security Consultant in the SAP security processes, change management and IT functionality.
• Work as a team member in segregation of duties analysis and auditing requirements.
• Create, execute plans for SAP security internal audits and create and execute solution test security plan with business leads.
• Collaborate and work with client's business users to best understand their business requirement in order to provide the best IT solutions.
• Collaborate with SAP on critical business specific issues and assist in resolving them.
• Must have worked in SAP HCM (Human Capital Management), SAP PA (Personnel Administration), SAP OM (Organization Management).

Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Commn. Engineering or related with at least 6 months of experience or Bachelor’s Computer Science, Electronic & Commn, IT, Engg, or related with at least 60 months of experience.
