Head of Delivery Management Office (DMO) - Remote

Location:

This is a remote position (within the United States), or you can work from one of our offices in Portland, ME; Shawnee, KS; or Orlando, FL. 

Job Summary: 

As department head of the Delivery Manager Office (DMO), you will work with various other department heads to optimize productivity and cultivate project delivery success from inception to completion. Candidates should have proven ability to strategize and implement company-wide initiatives, develop programs to support the company's strategic direction, and manage long-term goals. This role will report to the Vice President of Consulting Services.

Areas of focus within this role include coaching and developing employees, managing budgets, overseeing daily operations, and fostering a diverse and collaborative culture. This position requires working closely with Project Management Office (PMO), Practice Area Leads, Operations, Consulting Services Sales Support (CS3), and Human Resources (HR) departments.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledge, insight, leading practice across the department
• Drive consistency across projects and deliverables
• Implement quality control protocols throughout the project lifecycle
• Assess project feedback and adjust approach and assets as needed
• Implement new assets and processes to improve the project experience
• Manage mitigating internal and external escalations
• Staff resources based on project profile and resource strengths
• Create and manage development plans and objectives for resources
• Partner with HR to attract the right resources and skill sets
• Account for departments billable target and performance
• Act as a Delivery Manager and/or Delivery Manager Advisor as needed 
• Act as a Project Executive (PE) on implementation projects
• Assist as a Sales Solution Architect (SSA) on CS3 requests

Required Skills/Abilities:

• SuccessFactors Employee Central certification required. 
• Certification in additional SuccessFactors modules is a plus.
• Ability to effectively delegate and maintain a “big picture” strategic view
• Translate policies into daily routine operations and be self-assured, confident and goal-oriented 
• Outstanding management skills and fiscal management experience 
• Extensive client-facing experience 
• Polished, professional, confident demeanor 
• Takes proactive measures and jumps into any role to ensure project success
• Theoretical and practical project management knowledge 
• Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Smartsheets, MS Office, and project management software tools

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• 3-5+ years of Executive or Director experience
• 8-10+ years of HR Information System Management experience
• 6+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience in multiple modules and On-premise SAP Integration
• 10-15+ years of Consulting or Delivery experience

• This position requires periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
