Job Summary:
The HRBP will provide a wide range of HR support for assigned business units. You will be the key HR resource for your assigned areas. Responsibilities include performance management, professional development, recruitment, employee relations, policy questions, etc. The HRBP plays a key role in the success of Veritas Prime by facilitating a positive relationship between employees and leadership. You will be successful in this role if you can foster relationships with those at every level of the organization, have experience effectively managing a wide range of employees, and have some experience in recruiting.


This is a remote position, or you can work from one of our offices in Portland, ME; Shawnee, KS; or Orlando, FL.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Act as a consultant on human resources management and organizational changes for assigned business units.
  • Provide active recruiting services to assigned units and other areas of the company as needed. This includes but is not limited to sourcing, recruiting, conducting interviews, taking notes, scheduling, making offer calls, and onboarding new hires. 
  • Work closely with HR leadership, business units, and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Engage, coach, support, and motivate employees to improve performance and identify opportunities for professional development.
  • Identify professional development needs for teams and individuals.
  • Provide opportunities and guidance that enable the transfer of learning into effective practice for employees.
  • Use coaching methods that provide an environment that is collaborative, supportive, and provides constructive feedback on performance. 
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
  • Provide HR policy guidance.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics
  • Assist with HRIS tickets and tasks as needed.
  • Provide support to HR team members; advise and collaborate with other HR team members

 

Skills/Abilities: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in HR and/or talent/workforce development
  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors HCM highly preferred but not required
  • Proficient in HR technology
  • Expertise in HR policies and procedures
  • 2+ years’ experience with recruiting and interviewing
  • Strong knowledge of hiring processes
  • Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
  • Experience with benefits administration preferred
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent coaching and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
