Digital Workplace Consultant - Remote

Job Description

As a Digital Workplace Consultant, you will partner with clients to understand their goals and design strategies that improve communication, engagement, and collaboration through modern digital workplace solutions. You’ll build on your existing experience with intranet and collaboration platforms to develop expertise in SAP Work Zone to help guide clients through configuration, best practices, and adoption. 

We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable consultant to join our team and help clients improve their employee experience through modern intranet and collaboration solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with SAP Work Zone, a growing platform in the SAP ecosystem designed to enhance digital workplace experiences.

We don’t expect you to have direct experience with SAP Work Zone — we’ll support your learning through training and hands-on experience. What matters most is your background with similar digital workplace platforms. If you’ve helped organizations implement or manage tools like SharePoint, Microsoft Viva, LumApps, Confluence, Workplace from Meta, or other intranet and collaboration solutions, you’ll be well-positioned to succeed in this role.

Location:
This is a remote position (within the United States), but you can also work from one of our offices in Yarmouth, ME; Shawnee, KS; or Orlando, FL. 

Salary Range: 
The salary range for this position is $98,000 - $125,000 depending on experience. In some cases, compensation below or above that range my be offered. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role will not have direct reports at this time

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their digital workplace, intranet, and employee experience goals
• Design, configure, and support solutions using SAP Work Zone 
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical and functional solutions
• Support implementation projects from discovery through go-live
• Provide best practice guidance around internal communications and collaboration technologies
• Collaborate with internal technical teams, UX designers, and client stakeholders
• Contribute to documentation, training materials, and client knowledge transfer

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience with at least one modern intranet or collaboration platform (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Microsoft Viva, LumApps, Unily, Simpplr, etc.)
• Understanding of digital workplace and employee experience concepts
• Ability to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
• Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to clients and stakeholders
• Willingness and ability to learn new platforms and technologies quickly
• Comfortable working in a client-facing, fast-paced consulting environment
• Experience with SAP or SuccessFactors is a plus but not required

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Communications, Business, or similar), or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in consulting or solution delivery roles related to SAP, SAP SuccessFactors, or comparable enterprise platforms
• Hands-on experience supporting intranet, collaboration, or employee experience technologies (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, LumApps, Microsoft Viva, etc.)
• Experience working with enterprise clients and managing large-scale system implementations is preferred.

• This position requires periods of sitting at a desk, standing, and working on a computer.
